KBB names Golf Top Family Car

Kelley Blue Book named the 2010 Golf as one of its Top 10 Family Cars in late February.

In the annual appraisal, editors of kbb.com recommend what they see as the very best family cars for each year, highlighting the qualifying features and detailing why each is a contender.

In regards to the Golf Kelley Blue Book cited the starting price, the hatchback versatility, the European driving style and the interior that rivals many of the pricier cars. They felt the Golf answered all of the needs of a family, and also threw in some exhilaration and fun.

Editors look over hundreds of entries, analyzing for the aspects that make a good family car- safety, comfort, economy of operation, child-friendliness, reasonable price and good resale value are just to name a few. They believe the Gold is able to provide all of this, plus provide excellent service and a trouble-free ownership for years to come.

The Golf is available in a 2- or 4-door variant, depending on the size of your family. Proven German engineering and performance, coupled with refinement and a great entry level price all lead to a car that isn't just great for families, but fun to drive, as well.
