The 2011 Touareg is now available at Vista VW

The lighter, longer, faster Touareg is in stock and available at Vista Volkswagen. So vastly different from its predecessor, the 2011 Touareg is everything you should expect from a Volkswagen SUV and more.

In the 2011, the Touareg will be powered by an eight-speed automatic transmission moving the lightened frame (over 400 pounds have been rescinded from some trims) across the pavement, or off road, with even more velocity. Speaking of off-road capabilities, Volkswagen has been sure not to overlook the development of this feature.

New to the 2011 Touareg is some quite advanced off-road technology such as the 4MOTION system which has electronic differential locks at all four wheels, 31 degrees of climbing angle and an off-road driving program that tunes the ABS, EDS and ASR for off-road duty, activates Hill Descent Assist and adjusts the automatic gearshift points.

Step inside the Touareg and you are greeted by its newly updated interior. With more curves and contours, the 2011 Touareg exudes luxury and is finished off with high quality cross stitching accents. For the height blessed among us, the new cabin provides more legroom and the center console has been moved forward offering additional support.

Upgrades that other makes consider add-ons which are found standard in the 2011 Touareg include: a spiffy 6.5-inch touch screen DVD system with navigation and a rearview camera, adjustable rear-seating, 18-inch wheels and power seats, will all be standard in the U.S.
